Estate mediation

Estate mediation

Death is a fact of life that none of us will be able to escape. Unfortunately, there are times when the liquidation of an estate can be difficult because the deceased's inheritance creates conflicts among the bereaved heirs or because of the lack of estate planning.

Although death is inevitable, conflict can be avoided by mediating rather than settling the situation in court. The mediator, with the agreement of the heirs, intervenes to re-establish communication, explores the possible options for solutions and informs the parties of their rights and obligations in order to settle the estate while preserving as much as possible the relations between heirs.
